Please forget about the freaking GT for a second!!! The NSX has more design than a Huracan, and even a Gallardo, just to point out a few. It's got several design languages beautifully integrated and morphed into one, on only one canvas. Yes the GT is striking, but so is the Lamborghini Veneno...and nobody is complaining that it isn't as striking as that? Just cause it was launched the same day...give me a break. Stop being so tunnel-visioned. Who gives a crap when it was revealed. It wasn't revealed to take attention from the GT. They are totally different cars for goodness sakes! Try to honestly block the GT from your mind for 5 seconds, and look at the NSX. Now can you honestly tell me you don't want to see one in person. And drive one. Because let's be honest, if given the chance who wouldn't hoon the mess out of it?
And the same(pretty much) goes for the massively beautiful 4C spider that everybody has somehow already forgot about. Oh, and by the way, the new Alfa was revealed before the GT. So with the argument that the NSX is obsolete because it was revealed right after the GT, the GT should be obsolete because it was launched right after the 4C spider? Don't get me wrong I like the GT, I like it a lot, but other cars did get revealed today. Some very impressive cars, that any other day would be endlessly heralded by the entire internet and car people all over the world.

No the SX was obsolete not because it was reveled after the GT. It was obsolobsolete because it was reveled in 2009, someone who thinks it's a brand new car clearly has lived under a rock. And they aren't totally different cars. They are both 2 seat mid engine super cars using forced induction power plants

I'm impressed with the final product but I do prefer the prototype's interior.

Well no matter what Viper>everything else. I can't wait for a proper ACR and factory drop-top. I have always loved the Viper, even before I really got into cars, and nothing will ever change that.
But I'm just tired of people shunning the NSX into a corner. It's still massively impressive. Maybe not as striking as the GT(looks are obviously a personal opinion that must be respected by others)but I seriously doubt it's the worst looking reveal today in anybody's mind
But if you ever want to talk Viper, just drop me an email or something in one of my older posts(so nobody else actually sees it until I do and dismiss it). I'm always up for Viper talk:)

I just saw the second new Viper on the road a couple days ago. Sooooo nice in person. Pics don't do it justice. You have to see it in the flesh.
V10 > V8 > V6
The new NSX might be cool. Really we shouldn't anoint or dismiss any new car until it's driven

All they did by displaying a concept so long ago was gauge interest before diving head first in to it and possibly lose a ton of money. It takes that long to develop a car from scratch and change its power plant half way through the development. Instead of developing it most of the way before showing it off, they just showed a very early concept of the future design language of Acura that just so happened to also preview a car that was being considered to start undergoing development. 5 years is how long it takes to make a new Ferrari(458 class) from scratch knowing there will be a solid market for it.

In looks or what you think performance wise?
B/c looks can only be somebody's personal opinion. A majority of people can have the same opinion, but it's an opinion that must be respected in the end. We will just have to wait for performance. The GT should have monster performance, so if the NSX is even better, that's great from a car guy standpoint. Cause the GT will be very good, and if the NSX can be just as good, then the car world gets not one, but 2 excellent, high performance cars. And how can that be a bad thing?

You are talking about the Gen5 right? I've seen so many it's astonishing. It is my favorite generation so far for so many reasons. It's a glorious, magnificent, striking, awesome car.
And that's right, but for me:
V10>all other car engines because of the analog-supercar style aggression and the violent, raw sound

I think they have it a interior that would match up better with a more bare-bones style, analog type supercar. The techy, fancy super cars deserve nicer interiors. Especially if the are going to be poised as everyday supercars

It sucks because 90+% of the time I have to use mobile. I can't get on at school on computers cause I'm not in any classes in computer labs, and furthermore, it's blocked on their education filter on the internet. Then I'm usually not home for long enough to warrant turning my laptop on and having time for Oppo/Jalopnik

Yes. The first time I saw the Gen 5 it was a black one with motorsport stickers on it. Probably owned by someone who owns a motorsport shop.
I was in my 911 and gave him a thumbs up. Got one back.
Cool for Jalops to recognize cool cars regardless of brand
N/A engines FTW!

I'm just surprised you've only seen 2!
But regardless, that's pretty cool. That shows that there is respect between car people. Even between car owners who's cars are very different!

I know, crazy, right? I live in OC, California. It's got a lot of nice cars. But 90% of all new sports cars are:
